Ray’s Story

Ray’s Story - Acrylic paint on paper and linocut prints on paper. Ray’s Story is based on quotes from an interview with Ray, a learning-disabled man who spent 25 years in a Cold east psychiatric hospital in Portsmouth, 1960s - 1990s. Commissioned by This New Ground UK as part of an oral history project of learning-disabled adults in Portsmouth. Exhibited at Apex Gallery Portsmouth as part of the group exhibition Inside, 27 Mar – 7 Jun 2026.
